Cindy Smith, NP, is excited to join the team at Cedars Recovery Center. She brings a wealth of experience and compassion to support patients on their recovery journey. With over 28 years in health care, she has dedicated her career to serving diverse and often underserved populations. She has worked as a nurse, paramedic, and even as a coroner, giving her a unique perspective on the many ways health impacts individuals, families, and communities. Along the way, she has specialized in emergency medicine, addictions and mental health outreach, and forensic nursing, always focusing on compassionate, trauma-informed care.

At Cedars, Cindy combines her critical care skills with therapies such as MyoActivation to support both physical and emotional healing. She is passionate about helping people feel safe, heard, and supported as they move forward in their recovery. Outside of work, she loves spending time in nature, where she finds peace, balance, and renewal.
