Donna brings over 19 years' experience in Addiction Treatment and family systems work to her role at Cedars. As an experienced addiction counsellor her therapeutic experience integrates group process, trauma work and experiential modalities. Throughout her clinical practice Donna has continued to deepen her clinical practice through family system leadership, Intensive outpatient treatment, private practice and non-profit work specializing in structured interventions, and recovery-oriented family support including programming for Military and Veteran families. Donna's approach is rooted in trauma informed care and family systems theory drawing on training in Satir Systemic Therapy, ARISE intervention, and somatic trauma work. She holds her Canadian Certified Addiction Counsellor designation.
