Jasmine Hurson

Community Support Worker

Jasmine was born in Victoria but grew up in Duncan, a community she still proudly calls home. Before joining our team, she worked in home support, where she discovered her passion for caring for others.

In May 2024, Jasmine completed treatment at Cedars. Her experience there became a turning point - both personally and professionally. Inspired by the compassion and guidance she received, she felt called to support others walking their own paths in recovery. That inspiration continues to shine through in her work every day.

Known for her upbeat, friendly personality, Jasmine brings a bright energy to every space she enters. She’s also almost always accompanied by JJ, her lovable dog and unofficial morale booster, who has quickly become a staff and patient favourite.

Outside of work, Jasmine enjoys exercising, attending meetings, and spending quality time with her family, friends, and of course, JJ.
