Jasmine Skidmore

Community Support Worker

Jasmine is a proud mother of four amazing children, including a brain cancer warrior who has taught her resilience, courage, and hope. She is in her second year of recovery after completing her own recovery journey through Cedars - an experience that transformed her life and inspired her to give back by supporting others.

Recovery is at the heart of how Jasmine lives her life. She believes that honesty, vulnerability, and genuine connection can inspire hope and remind others that lasting change is possible. Drawing on both her lived experience and her background in healthcare, she approaches every interaction with empathy, compassion, and without judgment.

Outside of work, Jasmine loves spending time outdoors, whether she's snowboarding, camping, or fishing, and she never turns down the excitement of a thrilling roller coaster. She believes recovery can be much the same, with its highs, lows, twists, and turns, and knows it takes courage to keep moving forward.

Jasmine is passionate about helping others rediscover their strengths, build confidence, and find hope one day at a time. She considers it a privilege to walk alongside individuals as they begin their own recovery journey, just as others once walked beside her.
