Jennifer Hacking
Community Support Worker
Jennifer lives each day in recovery with gratitude for the chance to rebuild her life. Recovery has been the greatest gift it has allowed her to face my fears, reconnect with her body, and begin to integrate all the parts of herself she once felt disconnected from.
Jennifer is currently studying to become a certified Breathwork Practitioner. Breathwork has been a powerful tool for her not just as a way to heal, but as a self-inquiry practice that continues to help her discover who she is underneath the layers of pain, trauma, and survival. It has given her the ability to show up with more presence, compassion, and authenticity in her own life and with others.
As a single mom, her recovery is about more than just herself. It’s about breaking cycles, showing her children what’s possible, and creating a life rooted in love, connection, and resilience. Being part of the Cedars community gives her the opportunity to walk alongside others on their own journeys and to give back what was so freely given to her.
Jennifer believes healing is not just about letting go of the past, but about stepping into the truth of who we are and learning to live fully - one breath - and, one day at a time.
