Mia was born in Victoria, British Columbia, and has spent her entire life on beautiful Vancouver Island. As the oldest of six siblings, she has always cared about looking out for and supporting the people around her, a quality that continues to guide her today.

Mia is excited to be joining the Cedars team and looks forward to learning more about addiction and recovery as she begins her studies in Social Work. Having seen the impact that addiction can have on families, she has developed a genuine interest in recovery and is eager to better understand how she can support people as they navigate their own journeys toward healing.

Mia is grateful for the opportunity to be part of someone's recovery journey and hopes to make a positive difference in the lives of those she has the privilege of supporting.
