Nicky Craven

Community Support Worker

Born and raised in the Cowichan Valley and Shawnigan area, Nicky grew up surrounded by a large, close knit, farming family. Deeply rooted in her community, she brings a strong sense of compassion and connection to her role at Cedars.

Nicky began her health care career in 2015 as a Health Care Assistant, working in both home support and long term care facilities. In 2019, she expanded her professional journey by earning a diploma in Medical Office Administration, combining her hands on experience with a deeper understanding of health care systems and support.

Passionate about helping others with empathy and positivity, Nicky is always eager to learn and grow, both from formal education and through meaningful experiences with others. Her optimistic outlook has helped her achieve more than she imagined, and she continues to pursue personal and professional growth.

In her spare time, Nicky enjoys hiking, discovering new beaches, and spending time with her family and animals whenever she can.
