Niel is Métis and has spent more than 35 years serving as a Fire Keeper and supporting others through Sweat Lodge ceremonies. He is passionate about sharing traditional knowledge with respect and humility and feels there is always more to learn.

An avid hunter and fisherman, Niel has a deep appreciation for the land and the teachings it provides. He is honoured to be part of Cedars' Land-Based Program and is grateful for the opportunity to share what he knows while continuing to learn alongside others.
