Shawn was born and raised on Vancouver Island and has called the Cowichan Valley home for most of his life.  Having experienced firsthand the effects of addiction on his family, friends and community, he is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work with the Cedars family, and to help facilitate healing in his community and others across Canada.  Shawn aspires to lead his life with compassion, empathy, and a good dose of humour.
