Cedars Traumatic Loss Support Group

CA$1,595.00

Introducing Cedars’ Traumatic Loss Support Group, where hope, connection, healing and recovery are at the heart of our journey together. Losing someone we love is one of the most challenging experiences we can face, it can be hard to see a way through the pain, but you’re not alone.

Cedars’ Traumatic Loss Support Group offers a space for deep connection, healing, and recovery for those who are navigating the profound pain of losing someone they love in a traumatic way. Whether the loss comes from suicide, homicide, substance use, or another heartbreaking event, the grief can feel overwhelming.

This group creates a safe, confidential space where you can share your story, express your emotions, and find comfort in knowing you're not alone. Here, you'll connect with others who truly understand the complexities of grief, offering compassion, acceptance, and a shared sense of healing.

At its core, the group is about empowering each other to face the challenges of traumatic loss. Together, we work towards recovery, helping each other navigate grief while breaking down the stigma that can sometimes surrounds these types of deaths.

The path to healing may be difficult, but in this space, you’ll find support, understanding, and a community that cares.

The “why” of Cedars’ Traumatic Loss Support Group is to:

-          Deepen your understanding of the grief process, helping you make sense of the emotions you're experiencing.

-          Empower yourself to respond to loss in more active, healing ways that move you forward.

-          Share, learn, and support each other throughout the eight-week journey, building a sense of community and connection.

-          Reclaim your hope for the future, rediscovering the possibility of moving beyond grief.

-          Cultivate resilience, growing stronger as you navigate the challenges of healing.

-          Improve your overall well-being and daily functioning, finding balance amid the pain.

-          Continue living, loving, and finding joy, all while integrating your loss into your life and honoring your grief.

Grief work is difficult and can be exhausting both emotionally and physically. Be gentle with yourself, together we are so much stronger.
